The DMV 1000 Challenge Mission

Our mission is to restore our thriving government and government contracting community by providing career resources for 1000 displaced workers in the District/Maryland/Virginia (DMV).

For the applicants:

If you live or work in the DMV and lost your Federal job, had an offer rescinded, or lost a contract as a direct result of Federal downsizing in 2025, we'd like to help.

For the reviewers:

We are looking for professionals in the government, corporate, non-profit space to assist with the DMV 1000 Challenge. If you have ever written or edited documents in a corporate, academic, or government environment, professionally mentored someone, interviewed candidates for a job, completed performance reviews, or just want to help then join the DMV 1000 Challenge. We don't care where you live or whether you are working, retired, or unemployed. Please sign up to be a volunteer editor.
